Crossness Engines offers an education service to schools and colleges over a wide range of subjects within the National Curriculum.

It is recommended that the teacher/lecturer in charge visits Crossness Engines prior to the intended school trip to-

• reconnoitre the site and see what we have to offer.
• discuss with the education co-ordinator any special requirements.
• ensure they know exactly how to get to the venue.

School visits should be arranged for Tuesdays that do not coincide with public visiting days.

We offer -

• Ample parking space at Crossness Engines.
• A 'Teacher resource pack' (not obligatory) cost £5.
• Visits by school parties are FREE

We require -

• Parties of no more than thirty (30) pupils/students at any time.
• In the case of school pupils, a ratio of ONE adult helper for every FIVE children.

All visits must be booked in advance by phoning either on a Tuesday or Sunday between 09.30 and 15.30.
