PLEASE NOTE - DEVELOPMENTS AT CROSSNESS DURING 2009

Following confirmation of the award from the Heritage Lottery Fund and other major grant givers the Trust is about to embark on a major programme of work that will see the creation of a new access road, the repair of the fabric of the core buildings and the creation of new visitor and exhibition facilities.

We are keen to maintain access to the site by visitors during this period but extensive building work presents a real challenge which may demand that the site be closed for significant periods until work is completed during 2010.

We have published a programme of visitor and steaming days for 2009 but please note that these dates may change at relatively short notice.  The latest updates will be posted here as soon as they are known so please make sure you check this site regularly
